The current connector market development trend is clear, due to the electronic products following the trend of thin, light, short and small, the connectors must also meet this requirements so as to integrate their products in this development direction. The FPC connector is rapidly transformed from the high-end military items into the convenient consumer goods, following the direction of the main stream consumer electronic products which are commonly using the flexible printing circuit board technology. 3). Flexible package board in packaging can perform its best functionality. CSP (Chips Scale Package), BGA (Ball Grid Array), COF ( Chip on film ), MCM ( Multi-chip Module) , have always treated the FPC connector as the most reliable packaging product. 

 

4). Medical equipment, aerospace, aviation equipment requires technical support and FPC connectors that have once been utilized in the military market has earned itself a good reputation for being reliable.

To summarize the above statements, the FPC flexible circuit has a place in the market and has a bright future. Now the FPC flexible circuit board production manufacturers have set their vision for the long term and are striving to take the lead in the market. The future FPC connector is developing toward the direction of small size, ultra-light weight, reduced production cost, upgraded system function, three dimensional installation, increased functionality and ease of use, etc. Therefore, research and development is continuously ongoing.
