MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing) is an edge computing technology extended from cloud virtualization. It is like a small edge server placed between end user and cloud computing platform. Before the data enters the cloud computing platform, it unloads some works first and then goes to the edge cloud computing platform. It can provide real-time analysis and reduce deployment cost while speeding up more application services. Therefore, it is suitable for precision industries such as smart manufacturing and smart medical. It helps to improve the corporation’s competiveness with the least latency and the fastest transmission speed.

 

Exclusive type 3: independent

This plan provides an exclusive base station and core network for corporations. It is suitable for the high-tech industry and application of rescue relief safety net. The observation focus in 2020 will be on a highly iterative development and the development speed of mutual pushing including the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain, cloud, information security, edge computing, etc. It will also promote cross-country, distributed smart manufacturing system.
